Arrive at Victoria Falls airport, meet and greet and transfer to Azambezi River Lodge

Azambezi River Lodge is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The accommodation features a selection of rooms and suites, which are equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV, hairdryer and a safe. Guests may enjoy delicious meals at the on-site open-air restaurant and refreshing drinks at the hotel bar

Sunset cruise

“A river of enchantment and magical colors bursting in the sky creating nature’s own masterpiece”, is the only way to describe the African Sunset on the Mighty Zambezi.

Cruise along the banks of the river, and view the spectacular scenery that is nature’s own sanctuary, and home to the “laughing hippos”, the “singing birds” and the “snapping crocodiles”, as you sip on your drink and indulge on mouthwatering snacks.

Enjoy the hospitality of our professional guide and Captain as you relax and enjoy the delicious snacks and chilled refreshments. See the “smoke that thunders” as you gently cruise the upper Zambezi River. Enjoy the myths and legends as our guide shares stories of the local tribes.

Experience the Zambezi River as David Livingstone did and travel through waters once journeyed by him on his way to the Victoria Falls. Observe the aquatic bird life and other resident or migratory species.

You may be fortunate enough to witness the great African elephant swimming from island to island, grazing or dusting themselves on the riverbanks.

The Zambezi sunset is a highlight of the trip and captivates your magical experience on the Zambezi River.

Game Drive in The Stanley & Livingstone Game Reserve

The early morning and late afternoon drives, led by expert field guides, take guests into a wilderness where the abundance of wildlife is king. Traversing its basalt plains, open grasslands, and teak forests to meet the shores of the Masuwe River, guests encounter a great diversity of animals. including the rare and endangered black rhino.

Guided Falls tour

The Victoria Falls reaches Its Zenith in About May each year. It's a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature's Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality…and nothing prepares you for your first sight. En route, you will be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where you may stop and take photos.

You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Our Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls.

Boma dinner

Partially open to the African skies and sheltered by the indigenous Gusu forest lies the award winning Boma restaurant. This offers a unique African experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa - together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people. Specialising in a superb selection of traditional Zimbabwean dishes, fish, a variety of game meat and potjies (hunter’s stew) - as well as vegetarian meals - diners are invited to sample such ethnic delicacies as deep-fried mopane worm and groundnuts.

2 nights at Azambezi River Lodge or Similar on Bed and Breakfast

The lodge is only 3 hours’ drive from Victoria Falls, favorable with visitors from all over the world.

Home to the world’s largest population of the African elephant, including the presidential herd, Hwange National Park boasts an abundance of other wildlife including buffalo, lion, leopard and a host of other species. The prolific birdlife is a must see for the enthusiast with one of the world’s most diverse population of raptors.

The lodge caters for a diverse range of guests from the lone adventurer to couples, groups, families and tour groups. It offers comfort, modern conveniences and an opportunity to experience the real African wild. Don’t forget, a camera is a must!

3 nights at Sable Valley Lodge or Similar on Fully inclusive, All meals and Activities as per the lodge Schedule.

This morning you will be transferred from Hwange national park to Camp Amalinda near Matopo National Park where you will spend two nights enjoying their activities. This exclusive safari lodge is tucked away in an ancient Bushman’s shelter in the Motobo Hills. The individually thatched rooms, including two honeymoon suites are set into the huge boulders and are all uniquely decorated. At the base of the camp is a large swimming pool and bar area overlooking a waterhole.

Guests can enjoy a natural infinity rock pool, private dining, and a range of activities, including vehicle and walking safaris, rhino tracking, guided walks, and visits to local villages and the grave of Cecil Rhodes Includes all meals, local drinks and Safari activities

2 nights at Camp Amalinda or Similar on fully inclusive and activities as per the lodges, schedule

This morning you will be collected and transferred from Camp Amalinda to the Lodge at the Ancient City. A unique hotel built around a granite outcrop in the same style as Great Zimbabwe Ruins and providing stunning views across the valley towards the ancient city. The stone and thatch lounge and bar form an integral part of the overall architecture. Rooms are decorated in a warm and inviting ambience, and provoke thoughts of royal dwellings of African Legends. Lodge at the Ancient City also offers a restaurant swimming pool and curio/gift shop.

This evening you will tour the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the legacy of Great Zimbabwe is widespread throughout the region. The ruins of Great Zimbabwe – the capital of the Queen of Sheba, according to an age-old legend – are a unique testimony to the Bantu civilization of the Shona between the 11th and 15th centuries. The city, which covers an area of nearly 80 ha, was an important trading centre and was renowned from the Middle Ages onwards.

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge situated on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Save River within Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe. It offers a unique blend of luxury and wilderness experiences, with accommodations including chalets and self-catering lodges.
